This implant system functions as an internal fixator with minimal bone-implant contact, allowing a specific angle to be selected or a cortical screw to be placed at an angle (up to 7 degrees) in the same hole.

The fixed angle design converts axial loads into compression force along the fracture fracture, which helps reduce gap length and tension.

The reduced distance between the holes increases the number of screws that can be placed in the fracture. The grooved surface on the underside helps maintain uniform deflection and torsional rigidity, which helps reduce traumatization and vascular damage.
